Lone Star Power in partnership with Capstone Green Energy, are technology leaders and innovators in onsite power and distributed energy. Our team has decades of experience in Distributed Generation, On-site Power, Combined Heat and Power (CHP,CCHP) and Renewable Energy, focusing on energy and power solutions where they’re needed, at the point of consumption.
Oil and Gas
In the Oil and Gas markets, Capstone Green Energy supports exploration and production, midstream and transportations operations, by providing power using Natural Gas, Flare, or Associated Gas as fuel; ensuring that gas producers have reliable power for the operation and production of Oil and Gas. The fuel flexibility of Capstone Green Energy products allows for operation on a wide variety of fuels, from low to high BTU, H2S, and gas condensates. Our high reliability and low maintenance requirements reduce the necessity of on-site technical personal and disruptive site visits.
Energy Efficiency
Combined Heat and Power is the simultaneous production of electricity and heat from a single fuel source. Lone Star Power Solutions sells and services Capstone Green Energy products and is an active member of the distributed generation and combined heat (CHP) and power industry. We provide efficient onsite energy solutions with Capstone Green Energy’s microturbine technology. By providing conceptual design, application engineering support, site integration, and startup with ongoing maintenance, we ensure that the provided solution will operate at peak performance. Capstone Green Energy's products are providing customers with power independence for commercial and industrial, resource recovery, and oil and gas applications. In commercial and industrial applications, Capstone Green Energy’s microturbines provide hot water, chilled water, and steam to various facilities such as hotels, healthcare, and manufacturing facilities, data centers, and office buildings.
Aftermarket Support
Headquartered in Houston, Texas and with locations throughout our territory, Lone Star Power Solutions is responsible for over 40 Megawatts of installed microturbines. The company maintains a dedicated staff of application engineers, sales and marketing, customer service, and Capstone Certified Technicians that are located throughout its territory.
Capstone’s Factory Protection Plan (FPP) is a comprehensive maintenance program designed to give financial peace of mind to customers by setting the cost at a fixed rate for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the life of the microturbine product. The FPP contract enables customers to have predictable and stable maintenance costs over the life of the equipment and protects the users from unscheduled maintenance expenditures.
